AC1847 - Ordenes Generales Estadounidenses durante la Ocupación de la Ciudad de México. City of Mexico, 1847 - 1848.
a) General Orders No. 293.
Headquarters of the Army, City of Mexico, Sept. 20, 1847.
The General in Chief has the liveliest pleasure in republishing section of the act of Congress, approved March 3d, 1847, and desires that, in justice to the gallant Sergeants, Corporals, and other enlisted men of this glorious Army, inmediate attention be given to those benificent provisions of law...". 1 p.

b) General Orders No. 372. Headquarters of the Army, Mexico, Dec. 12, 1847.
"1.- The highways of Mexico, used, or about to be used, by the American tropos, being still infested, in many parts, by those atrocious bands called guerrilleros and rancheros, who, under instructions from the late Mexican authorities, continue to violate every rule…". c) General Orders No. 376. Headquarters of the Army, Mexico, December 15, 1847.
"1.- This army is about to spread itself over and to occupy the Republic of Mexico, until the latter shall sue for peace on terms acceptable to the Government of the United State. 2.- On the occupation of the principal point or points in any state, the payment to the Federal Government of this Republic of all taxes or dues, of whatever name or kind…". 2 p.

c) General Orders No. 395. Headquarters of the Army, Mexico, Dec. 31, 1847.
"Supplemental to General Orders No. 376. 1.- To support, in part, the military occupation of the REpublic of Mexico, by the army of the United States of this Republic, already occupied, and others as they shall become ocupied, are, or will be assessed, by the year, in dollars, as follows…".
