"Emerging with his memory intact from the 60s underground art scene, he has worked for every major newspaper and magazine in Britain apart from The Daily Mirror and The Sun, working with people such as John Lanchester and Will Self (nominated to the Man Booker Prize); he has been an illustrator for the Financial Times in new fiction, amongst a variety of genres. He has styled several large restaurants and nightclubs, and has written plays about artists. He believes that the art of illustration should spill out in all directions. His mission is to help revive through his work, the once pre-eminent graphic culture of Britain and to ensure that drawing, like language, retains its unique power to move and inspire".
