Absentee bids
Authorized Galerias personnel may make legitimate bids for absentee buyers, at no charge, and under the following conditions:

A buyer must make his bid known to "Galeries" up until four hours before the beginning of the auction, by means of delivering a receipted absentee bidding form at our office, by fax, or e mail at ofertasenausencia@mortonsubastas.com. This form is available at our office and auction catalogue, as well.

The buyer must indicate his highest bid limit on each lot to the "Galeries". |

In the case that the maximum absentee bid is met by a physically present bidder,"Galeries" is authorized to raise the absentee bid. If this not be the case, the physically present bidder will have priority over the lot. This information is kept confidential. |

As payment guarantee, if in case the bidder is present at "Galleries" to register absentee bids must sign a check or American Exoress credit card receipt bank to the order of Galerías Louis C. Morton, S.A. de C.V. |

Lots are appraised at the lowest possible price to allow for highest bids during the auction. |

If it so be the case that two absentee bidders make equal bids on a same lot, the lot will be awarded to the absentee bidder who bid first, in time, that day. |

“Galeries” is NOT responsible for any absentee bid that remains ineffective. |

“Galeries” does NOT accept any bids ithout high and low appraisal amounts. |
Phone bids

You may make phone bids during the auction, as long as you have filled out a form and handed it in to Galerias, at least two business days before the auction, and, as long as the lot that interests you has a value of at least 15,000 pesos. Phone bids follow the same guidelines as absentee bids. You may make your bids and send documentation via fax or e-mail to ofertasenausencia@mortonsubastas.com.
